Step 4: A new page will be opened, scroll all the way to the bottom until you get to Media and Contacts, under it, tap Media and Contacts (the option with the icon of a phone beside it).

Step 5: At the bottom of the new page that opens, you’ll see the Autoplay option close to the bottom. Tap it.

Step 6: This is the final step, a few options will be displayed, select the Never Autoplay Videos option.

Now, selecting Never Autoplay Videos is essential if you want to save data or save yourself from getting distracted by dog/cat videos that autoplay.

On Wi-Fi Connection Only

If you’re only interested in saving your Mobile data, you can just select the second option (On Wi-Fi Connections only).

This option ensures the Facebook app doesn’t play videos if you’re not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

As soon as you are, the next video you see is going to autoplay.
