One of the things you should do when you come across an interesting article on the internet is save it. You may save it because you are too busy and want to read it later or because you think it’s really helpful.

You can save pages on your Android phone using browsers. I have talked about how you can do this with the Chrome browser, but today, I am going to be showing you how to do the same using UC Mini.

You’re going to learn how to save the pages, how to find or view them, and how to delete them when you no longer need them.

How to Save Pages on UC Mini

Step 1: Go to the website you want to save.

Step 2: Scroll through the website so every text or image is visible.

If you don’t do this, you will get an incomplete page after saving it. You don’t have to read the article on the page, just scroll down till you get to the end of the article.

Step 3: Tap the UC Mini Menu button.

Step 4: Tap Tools. It’s the icon that looks like a briefcase.

After taking the steps above, the page you’re currently on will be saved to your phone.

A notification will be displayed like the image below.

Next, I’m going to show you how to find the pages you’ve saved on UC Mini.

How to Access Saved Pages on UC Mini

To view the pages you’ve saved on UC Mini, you don’t need to have an internet access. You will be able to see all the texts and pictures, but you’ll not be able to watch videos.

This is because you need an internet connection to stream videos.

If you’re interested in saving videos to your phone so you can watch later, read my tutorial on how to download online videos, it’s free.

Now here’s how to view the pages you’ve saved using UC Mini.

Step 1: Tap the UC Mini Menu button.

Step 2: Tap Downloads.

You’re going to see all the files you’ve downloaded in this section.

The webpages you saved were also actually downloaded to your phone, so that’s why we’re using the Download section.

Step 3: At the top of the page, you’re going to see two options. Download and Files. Tap Files.

You can open any of them by just tapping on the title of the page.

10 tap offline page to open

After that, you will be able to read all you can on the page while using the browser. If you feel like you don’t need it anymore, you can delete it.

I’ll be showing you how to delete all the webpages.

How to Delete Pages Saved on UC Mini

Now, just like all the files you download, pages you download using the UC Mini browser will take up space on your phone.

The number of pictures contained in a webpage will determine how heavy the page is.

Also, the number of pages you save will determine how heavy they are in total. You shouldn’t have too many saved pages if you don’t have enough room for all of them.

By now I’m sure you know how to access your webpages, so head to where you get the list of all the pages you’ve saved and we’ll carry on from there.

Step 1: Long press on the webpage you wish to delete and a list of options will appear.

Step 2: Now tap Delete.

Step 2: Tap all the webpages you wish to delete, or tap Select All on the bottom left.

Step 3: Now tap Delete and confirm by tapping delete again.

That is all.

Conclusion

Saving pages for offline view comes with its perks, you can view the pages without having an internet connection thereby saving your precious data.

A lot of browsers support this feature e.g. Chrome, Firefox, etc.

Even though you’ve seen how to do this using UC Mini, please know that you can do the same using UC Browser, the bigger version of UC Mini.
