Design and Display

The Camon 11 comes with a 720 x 1520 screen resolution, a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display and a single top notch where the front camera, flash, proximity sensor and speaker grilles are placed.

Looking at the bottom, you get a nicely curved thin bezel with a nice chin. This really improves display on the phone.

Front

Turning to the back of the phone, you get to see the Polycarbonate design, which is really shiny and spotless. At the top left, the dual camera is vertically placed with the Quad-LED flash right below.

In the center beside the flash, a fingerprint sensor is placed. This is good for improving the security on your phone.

It looks great because whether you’re into gaming, movie watching, video streaming, you can tell the experience will be awesome.

Cameras

At the top notch, you get a 16-megapixel selfie camera with the LED flash. Perfect for taking pictures and making videos, even in low-light conditions.

On the back, the Camon 11 has a vertically placed dual camera setup. Having 13-megapixels + 2-megapixels with a Quad-LED flash just as good for making videos and taking really good pictures.

Hardware and Software

Integrated with a MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 chipset and a 2.0GHz Quad-core CPU with an ARM Mali-G71 MP2 GPU, this device seems to be very powerful.

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with HiOS 3.3 by Tecno with a RAM capacity of either 3GB or 4GB paired with 32GB or 64GB internal storage which can be expanded to 256GB with an SD card.

The Camon 11 will really deliver when it comes to multitasking.

Battery and Network Connectivity

Latest smartphones come with non-removable batteries and the Camon 11 is no exception. It comes with a 3750mAh Li-Polymer battery which supports fast charging technology, you know you are covered even if you’re a heavy user (I know I am).

Getting the phone fully charged when it gets low shouldn’t be more than two hours.

Coming to connectivity, you get to experience 4G LTE for fast internet, 3G and 2G as well. WiFi, WiFi hotspot, bluetooth v4.2, a fingerprint sensor, micro USB port, USB OTG, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a slot for your sim cards.

Price

The 3GB RAM/32GB ROM version of the Camon 11 starts at $161 while the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM version starts at $185.

Conclusion

On paper, the Tecno Camon 11 is a standard phone for carrying out different tasks without hassles. The battery sounds really good for light users. Heavy users may have to charge twice a day.

Selfie lovers would love this product as well.

Overall, I would recommend this phone. Especially the 4GB RAM/64GB ROM version. So, if you can afford it, you should go for it.
